Jayne Young, Co-president & founding board member, spent her career in magazine publishing in NYC. As President and Publisher of The Atlantic, she and her team revived the publication, and rebuilt its business base, leading to profitability for the first time in decades. Under her leadership, The Atlantic was the first consumer magazine to have a website, and was the first publication to host live, online conferences, along with many other industry innovations. During her tenure, The Atlantic won numerous honors, including several prestigious National Magazine Awards. 

A native New Yorker, Jayne first visited the Hamptons in the 1950s, becoming a proud resident of Sag Harbor in 2003. Her many efforts on behalf of our community include having been a long time board member and past president of Save Sag Harbor. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Jayne enjoys nature walks, paddle boarding, swimming, and gardening in addition to enjoying the arts and cultural offerings in our area.
