Robert Cugini is a business leader, environmental steward, and longtime advocate for land conservation and historic preservation. As President of the Barbee Mill Company, he has led the transformation of a multi-generational family business from industrial operations to large-scale environmental remediation and waterfront redevelopment.

His conservation work includes partnerships that have permanently protected critical ecosystems and old-growth forests in Washington State. A passionate horticulturist and beekeeper, he brings a deep personal commitment to land stewardship, as well as a longstanding connection to Sag Harbor through his family’s historic home.
